Job Title: Tax Preparer

A U.S.-based accounting firm is looking for a skilled Tax Preparer to join our remote team. Were seeking someone detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced in preparing individual and business tax returns while ensuring full compliance with U.S. tax laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual (1040) and business tax returns (1120, 1065, etc.).

• Verify accuracy of data and documentation before filing.

• Communicate with clients to collect necessary financial information.

• Stay up to date on IRS regulations and filing requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Tax Preparer (U.S. tax experience preferred).

• Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Reliable laptop/PC and strong internet connection are a must.

• Ability to work remote, full-time during U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
