Position Overview:

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for providing professional support to customers of a storage unit business. The CSR will manage communication across multiple channels, assist internal teams, maintain accurate records, and ensure a smooth customer experience from initial contact to resolution. This role includes helping customers with unit reservations, answering inquiries about availability and pricing, resolving issues, and supporting the operational efficiency of storage facilities.

Key Responsibilities:


Customer Support & Communication:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and messages in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Address customer questions, concerns, and complaints with empathy and effective problem-solving.
  • Provide timely follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.

Sales & Scheduling Support:

  • Schedule appointments, consultations, or service requests.
  • Assign inquiries or leads to the appropriate team members.
  • Follow up on pending inquiries and document customer feedback.
  • Confirm scheduled activities and communicate updates internally.

CRM & Data Management:

  • Enter, update, and maintain accurate customer information in CRM systems.
  • Keep digital records organized and up to date.
  • Prepare and update spreadsheets to track performance metrics, communication logs, or team activity.

Administrative Assistance:

  • Support general office duties such as correspondence, documentation, and reporting.
  • Assist with basic marketing or outreach activities when needed.
  • Perform additional administrative or coordination tasks as assigned.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of customer service or administrative experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including CRM systems, spreadsheets, and email tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional and friendly phone presence.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some experience working in a storage facility or similar environment.
