  • Qualify interest and schedule introductory meetings with the acquisition team.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up cadence using call, email, and text sequences.

Target List Development & Research:

  • Identify business categories aligned with our acquisition criteria (home services, skilled trades,

  • Build and maintain prospect lists using online databases, Google searches, local business directories, and industry associations. Gather key information such as owner contact details, estimated size, years in business, and service offerings.
  • Maintain accurate pipelines of outreach attempts, conversations, and meeting results.
  • Pipeline Management & CRM Tracking
  • Log all outreach activity, notes, and follow-ups in the CRM (HubSpot or similar).
  • Track KPIs including calls made, contacts reached, meetings booked, and conversion percentages.
  • Keep organized digital records of communication for each prospect.
  • Report pipeline status to leadership weekly.

Owner Communication & Relationship Building:

  • Professionally articulate our acquisition strategy and why we are reaching out.
  • Address initial questions from owners and overcome common objections.
  • Develop trust, maintain long-term contact, and re-engage prospects on a routine schedule.
  • Prepare warm hand-offs to acquisition leadership for scheduled meetings.

Administrative & Operational Support:

  • Assist the acquisition team by preparing prospect summaries and pre-meeting briefs.
  • Update internal spreadsheets, lists, and dashboards for tracking sourcing performance.
  • Support ad hoc research tasks related to industry trends, competitor activity, and market
    mapping.

Key Requirements:

  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Apollo, Seamless.ai, or similar lead-generation tools.
  • Prior experience contacting small business owners or operating in the home-services sector.
  • Interest in business, valuation, acquisitions, and entrepreneurship.
