Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented National Accounts Lead Research Specialist to identify and research potential national and regional commercial clients. This role is responsible for locating key decision-makers, gathering accurate contact information, and qualifying potential business opportunities for executive management follow-up.

The ideal candidate is resourceful, persistent, organized, and comfortable utilizing online research tools, email outreach, and phone calls to uncover valuable business contacts and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential national and regional commercial accounts aligned with company growth objectives
  • Utilize online research tools, databases, social media platforms, company websites, and industry resources to locate business opportunities
  • Identify and verify accurate contact information for key decision-makers, including:
    • Operations Managers
    • Facility Managers
    • Procurement Departments
    • Regional Directors
    • Property Management Contacts
    • Construction and Retail Contacts
    • Executive Contacts
  • Conduct outbound phone calls and email outreach to gather missing contact information and organizational details
  • Build and maintain organized lead lists and prospect databases
  • Document all research findings, contact attempts, and verified information within CRM systems or spreadsheets
  • Provide qualified leads and detailed account research to executive management for sales follow-up
  • Assist in identifying multi-location businesses and national account opportunities
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging commercial opportunities
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality during all outreach and communications

Qualifications

  • Strong internet research and investigative skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable making outbound business phone calls
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet research goals
  • Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and CRM software
  • Experience with LinkedIn, business directories, and lead generation platforms preferred
  • Prior experience in lead generation, inside sales support, recruiting research, or business development preferred
  • Experience in waste management, junk removal, construction, logistics, or service industries is a plus
