Insurance Sales Broker Sport and Entertainment

Our client, an Afro-Global independent specialist insurance and reinsurance broker, is looking for an Insurance Sales Broker specialising in Sport and Entertainment, who is client facing in South Africa. The position will be based in Midrand and will be required to travel.

Job Responsibilities

• New business development in the Sport and Entertainment sector
• Conduct needs assessments and present tailored insurance solutions to Sport and Entertainment Industry clients
• Engage with insurers and negotiate best cover for our clients
• Constantly seek new product knowledge from insurers
• keep abreast with changes in Sport and Entertainment field and insurance.

Ideal candidate should possess:

• Degree in Marketing, Sales or any related fields
• Professional sales certifications is an added advantage
• 3 years sales and broking experience
• Good network within the Sport and Entertainment sector
• Willing to learn new concepts

The candidate does not need to have insurance experience but has worked with Sport and Entertainment companies in sales positions interacting with administration teams such as Finance, SHE, Risk Managers etc.
