NSW Area Manager – Retail & Franchise Network
Company Overview
Our client is a national retail brand operating a mix of corporate and franchise stores across Australia.
With an established presence and a diverse store network across NSW, the business is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead regional performance, strengthen franchise relationships, and drive operational consistency.
Role Overview
As the NSW Area Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of stores across metropolitan and regional locations, working closely with both Store Managers and Franchise Owners to improve commercial performance and execution.
This role requires a highly capable operator who can balance stakeholder needs, influence outcomes, and deliver measurable improvements across a geographically dispersed network.
Regular travel across NSW is required, including occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales, profitability, and financial performance across the region
- Partner with Franchise Owners to support business growth and operational improvement
- Coach and develop Store Managers and leadership teams
- Analyse performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Ensure consistent execution of brand standards, merchandising, and customer experience
- Implement and monitor action plans to improve underperforming stores
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships built on trust and accountability
- Conduct regular store visits and performance reviews
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in a multi-site retail leadership role
- Experience working within franchise or mixed ownership environments
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence financial outcomes
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Ability to operate autonomously across a large geographic region
- Highly organised with strong time and priority management
