Job Overview

Brighter Cleaning & Maintenance Services is seeking experienced Rope Access Window Cleaning Technicians to join our growing team. This role involves exterior high-rise window cleaning and building maintenance using professional rope access techniques.

We are looking for skilled individuals who prioritize safety, efficiency, and delivering high-quality results on every project.

Responsibilities

• Perform exterior window cleaning on high-rise and commercial buildings using rope access methods
• Safely set up, inspect, and manage rope systems, anchors, and fall protection equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and job site protocols
• Assist with building exterior maintenance tasks as required
• Complete job reports and communicate effectively with supervisors and clients
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition

Requirements

• Valid SPRAT or IRATA certification (Level 1, 2, or 3)
• Previous experience in rope access window cleaning or similar work
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and fall protection systems
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Physically fit and comfortable working on ropes for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 certification
• Experience in high-rise or commercial exterior maintenance
• Familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety regulations
• Knowledge of CSA-approved safety equipment standards
• Valid driver's license

Compensation

• $30 – $40 per hour (based on experience and certification level)
• Level 1: $28 – $33/hr
• Level 2: $32 – $38/hr
• Level 3: $38 – $45/hr+
• Overtime pay available
• Performance bonuses / piece-rate opportunities on large projects
• Paid travel time (for out-of-area jobs)
• Opportunities for year-round work and advancement

Top performers can earn $70,000 – $85,000+ annually depending on workload and projects.
