About the job ERP Project Manager (Part Time Consultant)
Brighton Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced ERP Project Manager to join the IT project team.
This role involves collaborating with both the Vendor and internal project management/executive teams to ensure the successful delivery of the project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ERP systems, project management, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, business, finance, or a related field, and 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or a similar role. You should also have strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills. As well as proficiency in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Systems and other financial software.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of Dynamics Finance and Supply Chain.
- Work closely with all stakeholders and teams to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Manage and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Develop and monitor metrics to measure project plan progress.
- Identify and develop strategies to mitigate project risks and issues.
- Coordinate and manage resource scheduling.
- Provide regular project updates to all stakeholders.
- Ensure all project activities are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Escalate concerns and surface feedback regarding the project.
- Coordinate support for teams during the transition period.
- Maintain and organize training materials library and conduct training sessions as needed.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ERP project management, ideally with Dynamics Finance and Operations.
- Proven track record of successfully managing ERP implementation projects.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Skills:
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Practical knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.
- Proficiency in M365 Applications
- Proficiency in Azure Dev Ops, Jira, and Confluence
- Knowledge of change management principles and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Dynamics Life Cycle Services
- PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL or other relevant project management certification.
- Experience in organizational transformation.
