What You'll Do

As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting order processing and inventory management, especially during high-volume seasons. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, speed, and consistency across all data-related tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Enter, update, and maintain accurate data in the clients desktop-based system.
  • Support the order processing workflow by ensuring timely and error-free input of order details.
  • Assist with inventory-related data tasks to help reduce delays during peak seasons.
  • Review and verify information for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with client standards.
  • Identify discrepancies and promptly escalate issues when needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient operational processes.
  • Provide light customer-facing support, when necessary, to handle simple or nuanced questions from clients typically older customers who may need more guidance.
  • Maintain productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced environment with high call volume (support-oriented teams may pull you in occasionally).

Who You Are

Were looking for highly detail-oriented candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • High attention to detail with a proven track record of accuracy in data-heavy roles.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in data entry, administrative work, order processing, or operations support.
  • Comfortable working with desktop-based platforms and learning client-specific systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to process large volumes of information efficiently.
  • Excellent written English communication; additional client-facing communication skills are a strong plus.
  • Ability to remain focused and consistent even during peak workload periods.
  • Resourceful, reliable, and proactive when handling data discrepancies or process gaps.
  • Experience supporting order processing, logistics, or inventory workflows is a plus.
  • Ability to handle nuanced or complex questions from customers or internal teams when needed.

Technical Requirements

  • High-speed internet (minimum 20 Mbps or fiber connection)
  • Fast and reliable computer
  • Noise-canceling headset (in case call support is needed)
  • Power and internet backup required

Rates and Expectations

  • Work Setup: Remote
  • Start Date: Likely January 1, 2026
  • Schedule: Full-Time | 9 AM 5 PM EST
  • Rate: $4.15 per hour + monthly retention bonuses
  • Role may involve minimal customer interaction depending on assignment
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with potential high-volume operational tasks
