Were looking for a driven Account Executive who thrives on creating meaningful first impressions and helping customers complete their purchasing journey. You'll support a pioneering digital marketplace that buys and sells heavy equipment. You'll pick up where the customer left off, re-engage warm leads, and confidently guide them toward a successful sale. You should be a proactive communicator who enjoys problem-solving, understands the importance of a smooth customer experience, and can balance salesmanship with empathy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound leads and convert them into customers from first contact to close.
- Proactively identify and reach out to potential customers via outbound calls, emails, and texts, creating qualified sales opportunities.
- Re-engage customers who have shown prior interest or abandoned inquiries/carts, helping them through the decision-making process.
- Help buyers select the right equipment based on their budget and needs.
- Maintain clear communication with buyers through phone, email, chat, and text.
- Set pricing, negotiate terms, and make key sales-related decisions (e.g., recommending financing options, coordinating with dealers, ensuring accurate product information).
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Sales Operations, and Logistics teams to ensure a seamless transaction and fulfillment process.
- Nurture customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues such as order discrepancies or shipment inquiries promptly.
- Maintain accurate CRM records (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track customer interactions and identify improvement areas.
Qualifications
- 2+ year of proven experience in sales, cold calling, telemarketing, or customer support.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) across multiple channels phone, email, chat, and SMS.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills with experience using CRM tools.
- Self-starter with strong intrinsic motivation and a solution-oriented mindset.
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) and ability to build trust quickly.
- Comfortable handling objections and negotiating terms with confidence.
- Curious about the operational side of the business and committed to ensuring a smooth customer experience.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written); a neutral or American-sounding accent is preferred.
- (Preferred but not required) Familiarity with the automotive or heavy equipment industry.
Rates and Expectations
- Work Setup: Remote (Latin America-based preferred)
- Schedule: Full-Time; approximately 50 hours per week, including occasional evenings and weekends to best serve customers.
- Rate: $6 - $8 (DOE)
- Channels: SMS, Chat, Email, Phone
- Time Zones: Eastern or Pacific
