Lawyer

BSG is a Communication Platform as a Service (CPaaS) designed to streamline how businesses connect with customers across multiple channels. Our flexible, cloud-based solutions integrate communication tools directly into your apps or websites, enabling real-time engagement.

We are currently looking for a Lawyer.

What you will do:

• Drafting, editing and approving contracts of various types and levels of complexity, including international contracts; conducting legal analysis of such contracts and maintaining a register of contracts;

• Preparing, updating and agreeing corporate documents, company policies and terms of use; providing legal support for the corporate website;

• Identifying and analysing legal risks, including those arising from the conclusion of contracts and regulatory compliance; screening new and existing vendors and counterparties for compliance risks;

• Researching, analysing and monitoring changes to legislation in various countries (both local and international), and establishing internal processes in response to such changes;

• Receiving and processing requests from internal clients, tracking deadlines; advising company staff;

• Negotiating with counterparties and corresponding with vendors in various jurisdictions;

• Providing legal support for new services, the operations of relevant company departments and the recruitment of new employees;

• Preparing legal reports and briefings at the company's request.

What is important to us:

• A university degree in law (Master's or Bachelor's)

• At least 2 years of professional experience in the IT/telecom industry, and in corporate and international contract law;

• Experience of working with complex, multi-tiered contracts and managing several legal entities simultaneously;

• Knowledge of Ukrainian civil, commercial and procedural law, as well as current case law;

• Proficient user of legal databases;

• Upper-Intermediate (B2) level of English;

Would be a plus:

• Knowledge of the GDPR and other EU and US privacy regulations, including guidelines, penalty practices, etc.
