About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled QA Engineer Automation to join our growing QA team. This is a full-time, onsite position at our Head Office in Khayaban-e-Amin, Lahore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and executing automated test frameworks that ensure high product quality and fast release cycles.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing

• Write clear, reusable, and scalable test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright

• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand application workflows and translate them into test scenarios

• Conduct regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing using automation tools

• Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs, then track them to resolution

• Continuously improve automation coverage and optimize test execution times

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests into deployment workflows

• Monitor test results and generate reports for internal stakeholders

• Participate in code reviews and QA planning meetings

• Stay up to date with the latest QA automation tools, trends, and practices

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing

• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or Java

• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Robot Framework

• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or Karate

• Solid understanding of software testing principles, test lifecycle, and Agile methodologies

• Experience working with version control systems (Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)

• Knowledge of database querying using SQL

• Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and documentation abilities
