About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Power BI Specialist to join our data analytics team. This is a full-time, onsite position based at our Head Office in Khayaban-e-Amin, Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements

• Connect Power BI to various data sources, including SQL databases, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms

• Perform data modeling, cleansing, and transformation using Power Query and DAX

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting needs and define KPIs

• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights

• Optimize performance and usability of Power BI solutions

• Implement row-level security and access control within reports

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of data across reports

• Create and maintain technical documentation for reports and processes

• Train and support end-users in understanding and utilizing Power BI tools

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development

• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M Language), and data modeling best practices

• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis

• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)

• Familiarity with Excel, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams integrations

• Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts

• Knowledge of data governance, security, and version control

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
