About the Role

We are looking for a technically capable and service-oriented IT Engineer L1 to join our IT support team. This is a full-time, onsite role at our Head Office in Khayaban-e-Amin, Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first-level support, assisting with hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth technical operations across the organization.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to user queries and service requests related to IT hardware, software, and networking

  • Perform basic troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals

  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems and software

  • Provide support for email configurations, VPN access, and mobile device connectivity

  • Maintain user accounts and permissions through Active Directory and Microsoft 365

  • Monitor system performance and report recurring issues to Level 2 or Network teams

  • Document support incidents, resolutions, and procedures in the help desk system

  • Ensure security updates, antivirus software, and patches are up-to-date

  • Assist in onboarding new employees by setting up IT workstations

  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and software licensing

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

  • 1+ year of experience in IT support or desktop support role

  • Good knowledge of Windows OS (10/11), MS Office 365, and common productivity tools

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN)

  • Familiarity with IT service management tools (e.g., Freshdesk, Spiceworks, or Jira)

  • Hands-on experience with system imaging, backup tools, and endpoint security

  • Ability to diagnose hardware/software issues quickly and efficiently

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Fundamentals, or equivalent are a plus
