About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. This full-time, onsite position based at our Head Office in Khayaban-e-Amin, Lahore, requires a candidate skilled in both manual and automated testing to ensure our software products meet the highest quality standards.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts

• Perform manual testing to identify defects and ensure product quality

• Design and implement automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver quality products

• Report bugs and issues clearly and track them through resolution

• Participate in sprint planning and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes

• Conduct regression, integration, performance, and usability testing

• Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to the development team

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance

• Proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies

• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or Cypress

• Strong knowledge of scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Java for test automation

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI

• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies

• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and usability
