About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Python Engineer to join our software development team. This is a full-time, onsite role based at our Head Office in Khayaban-e-Amin, Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Python-based applications and tools that support our core business processes.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop clean, efficient, and reusable Python code

• Build backend components, RESTful APIs, and data integration pipelines

• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and data teams to deliver full-stack solutions

• Integrate third-party APIs and work with cloud services such as AWS or Azure

• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality

• Debug, optimize, and refactor existing codebases as needed

• Contribute to system architecture and software design decisions

• Maintain documentation of code, architecture, and workflows

• Stay up to date with the latest Python tools, libraries, and frameworks

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• 2+ years of professional experience in Python development

• Proficiency in Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns

• Solid experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB

• Experience with version control systems like Git

• Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines

• Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and data serialization

• Knowledge of message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) is a plus

• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
