About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and methodical QA Engineer Manual to join our quality assurance team. This is a full-time, onsite position at our Head Office in Khayaban-e-Amin, Lahore. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our software products meet high-quality standards by executing test plans, identifying bugs, and supporting smooth product releases.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases

• Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, integration, and exploratory testing

• Identify, log, and track software bugs and inconsistencies using defect tracking tools

• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to clarify requirements and resolve issues

• Validate fixes and new features before releases

• Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and QA processes

• Provide timely feedback on software usability and suggest improvements

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

• Ensure software complies with defined quality standards and business expectations

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• 13 years of experience in manual software testing

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies

• Experience with test case management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla)

• Familiarity with web and mobile application testing

• Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-platform testing

• Basic understanding of SQL and ability to write simple database queries

• Ability to identify usability issues and provide constructive feedback

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
