Business Unit Lead

 Job Description:

Our Client is an eCommerce Startup providing a full suite of digital solutions for companies' online journeys. They provide 360 eCommerce solutions to help clients go online and maximize their exposure and returns.

This role will assist the commercial team in growing the in-house brands. The candidate should have well-rounded experience in marketing, building brand portfolios, and commercial skills driving sales targets. The Business Unit Lead will help acquire new brand portfolios in the future and expand the sales channels.

What you'll do:

  • Lead a team of brand and marketing managers and oversee their work performance to meet business goals.
  • Develop marketing strategies for products or services that take into account customer needs, competitor offerings, and industry trends
  • Determine pricing strategies for new products or services based on costs of production, research and development expenses, and profit margins
  • Manage budgets, financial activities, and cash flow for the business unit.
  • Oversee operations and ensure that customer service standards are met.
  • Work with senior management to develop organizational goals and objectives.
  • Review reports on business performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop a strategic plan for the business unit to support company goals.

What we require:

  • Seven years of experience in marketing and commercial building brand portfolios.
  • Experience in P&L management, especially e-commerce channels.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and industry contacts
  • Understanding of the digital media landscape and ability to identify potential opportunities to maximize ads efficiency and returns.
  • Up to date on industry trends and consumer behavior and industry trends.
