The Role



● Write complex queries and create dashboards and reports for internal use/analysis.

● Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using different techniques and tools.

● Define, review, and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of risk and compliance controls.

● Ensure effective workflows, set up tracking and reporting measures/standards.

● Collaborate across functions (operations, marketing, growth) to create solutions and insights.

● Monitor and lead/assist junior data analysts, helping to manage and prioritise workload.

● Perform data-driven abnormality Investigation upon risk alerts and escalations from Trust and Safety team.

Desired Skills and Experience

● Comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and operating in fast-changing environments. Strong track record of exercising sound judgment in the absence of direction.

● Problem-solving, positive and constructive attitude is a must.

● Structured, factual and data-driven. Ability to deep dive into data then elaborate clear and synthetic insights.

● Strong ability to prioritize tasks, identify project risks, with ownership and commitment to drive projects towards business and technical objectives.

● Advanced in Python and PostgreSQL, and BI tools.

● Degree in related field such as Mathematics or Statistics, Data Science or Computer Science.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
