Financial Analyst

Our client is the global leader at the forefront of the Professional Power Tools & Equipment Industry. Based in Milwaukee, USA, they have a relentless commitment to growth across Asia.

We are looking for a Financial Analyst who can deliver accurate and complete monthly financial reporting packs for Management and Regional Team. This requires analyzing and presenting the monthly results to the department managers while identifying potential risks and opportunities.

What you'll do

  • Monitor/track/analyze daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly performance trends to identify gaps and recommend remedial measures.
  • Support Marketing & Commercial teams in implementing strong pricing controls and aligning pricing/promotional strategies across products and channels.
  • Conduct monthly analysis on profitability by region/product category and propose improvements to increase business performance.
  • Business partner with the Sales Division & Brand team to maximize sales and margin growth opportunities.
  • Supporting the budget process, including planning, reporting, and presenting. This will include interaction with the cost center owners and the preparation of budget packs and input templates.
  • Support the annual review/budgeting process to determine market purchase and sales volumes: Develop a template for market input to drive the sales and margin budget and identify YoY drivers of variances.
  • Developing new reports and analyses to drive profitability and improve the business's strategic decision-making process.
  • Liaising with Region management, Operation Finance, Supply Chain, Internal Audit / External Auditors, and other teams in the region.
  • Review existing business processes, provide suggestions for improvements, and leverage local and regional IT resources to facilitate process automation.

What we require

  • Minimum 3+ years experienced focused
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related disciplines
  • High analytical ability with an interest in complex problem solving
  • Understanding of financial statements and a high degree of business acumen
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PPT, Access
  • Oracle & HFM experience a plus
