Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of reporting specialists and officers, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial and management reports in line with company policies and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them improve their reporting skills and achieve departmental goals.
  • Monitor the day-to-day operations of the reporting team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and within deadlines.
  • Identify areas for improvement within the reporting process and assist in implementing changes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency in financial reporting and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  • Maintain regular communication with senior managers to update them on team progress and assist in meeting reporting requirements.
  • Conduct quality checks on reports and provide feedback to team members to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure timely finalization of audited financial statements.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field from a reputable university.
  • Minimum of 35 years of relevant work experience in Finance, Accounting, or Reporting.
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to prepare, review, and analyze financial and operational data with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using financial reporting tools such as Oracle
  • Experience in audit and compliance management is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various teams across the organization.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
