Busybee Teachers is looking for dependable and experienced credentialed substitute teachers to support Head Start classrooms this Summer across Hillsborough County (Tampa, FL). These roles support early childhood classrooms serving children ages 0–5 and may include increased classroom leadership responsibilities. Whether you're looking for occasional work or consistent classroom coverage, we offer flexible assignments based on your availability.

What You'll Do:

Step into classrooms when regular staff is unavailable
Lead classroom instruction using provided lesson plans
Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
Support children's social, emotional, and developmental needs
Collaborate with classroom staff and center leadership as needed

Qualifications:

Associate Degree or higher
40-Hour DCF Introductory Child Care Certification
CDA or FCCPC Credential
CPR and First Aid Certification
Fire Extinguisher Certification
Eligible for Level II background screening
Professional, reliable, and comfortable working with children ages 0–5
