Substitute Teacher Assistant – Head Start (Tampa, FL) Flexible Pay | $144/Day

Busybee Teachers is looking for dependable and dedicated Summer substitute teacher assistants to support Head Start classrooms across Hillsborough County (Tampa, FL). These roles support early childhood classrooms serving children ages 0–5. Whether you're looking for occasional work or consistent classroom experience, we offer flexible assignments based on your availability.

What You'll Do:

• Step into classrooms when regular staff is unavailable
• Assist with daily classroom routines and activities
• Support a safe, structured, and engaging environment
• Help meet the social, emotional, and developmental needs of young children
• Work alongside lead teachers and classroom staff as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED (some college preferred)
• 40-Hour DCF Introductory Child Care Certification
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Fire Extinguisher Certification
• Eligible for Level II background screening
• Reliable, professional, and comfortable working with children ages 0–5
