POSITION SUMMARY
Under the guidance of the National Sales Director, the Regional Sales Manager for the Domestic Division is responsible for the sales and marketing of Butter Buds products within their assigned territory. Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and training brokers and customers by leveraging technical expertise, organizational skills, and customer knowledge to influence purchasing decisions and support product application, ultimately driving revenue growth. Additional responsibilities include documenting, managing customer relationships, and introducing new products to the market. The role also involves supporting major trade shows outside the defined territory, completing trip reports, and assisting customer service with the collection of past due accounts.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Research customer needs and develop product and service applications by determining market strategies and goals for each offering. Responsibilities include obtaining and coordinating data from staff and brokers, researching and developing lists of potential customers, and performing market research to identify customer needs and share insights with the team. Additional tasks involve evaluating the marketability of products and services based on customer requirements, following up on sales leads, developing new leads, and maintaining a current understanding of industry trends and technical developments that impact target markets. The role also includes establishing and maintaining industry contacts that generate sales and working with customer service to ensure clear communication with customers, supporting ongoing sales opportunities.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations and close sales in a professional and effective manner by developing sales and marketing proposals for customers, delivering presentations to prospective and current customers, making regular sales calls to develop relationships, follow up on leads, and meeting established sales quotas and revenue goals.
- Participate in sales forecasting and planning by researching, developing, and maintaining both long- and short-term sales and marketing plans. Responsibilities include producing regular reports and plans for managerial approval, staying informed of strategic plans and procedures to ensure alignment with market initiatives, and monitoring, analyzing, and communicating sales data through contact management software to support product and service planning.
- Develop and maintain communication in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers by communicating openly, honestly, and constructively; treating all employees, brokers, and customers with dignity, respect, and courtesy; taking responsibility for resolving concerns related to communication, trust, and respect; and seeking out the information needed to fulfill job responsibilities. Additionally, prepare periodic sales reports detailing sales volume, potential opportunities, and areas for client base expansion. Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education: Bachelors degree in Science, Food Science, Business, or Marketing.
Experience: Minimum of five years of work experience with a demonstrated track record of success in Sales and Marketing within the food industry.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
