Role Summary

We are looking for a GIS Administrator to operate and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise environments — covering

installation, configuration, security, high-availability, and routine geodatabase administration.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, upgrade, and patch ArcGIS Enterprise (Server, Portal, Data Store, Web Adaptor).

- Manage federated deployments, HA, and disaster recovery.

- Administer enterprise geodatabases (Oracle/SQL Server with SDE) and PostGIS.

- Configure security: user/group management, sharing models, OAuth/SAML.

- Monitor service health, optimise tile/feature services, troubleshoot issues.

- Manage backups, restores, and data replication.

- Document operational procedures and runbooks.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in GIS, IT, or equivalent.

- 4+ years administering ArcGIS Enterprise in production.

- Strong with Windows Server, IIS, and SQL Server / Oracle administration.

- Hands-on with SDE geodatabase administration and replication.

- PowerShell or Python scripting for automation.

- Familiarity with backup tooling and DR testing.

- Professional English — mandatory.

Preferred / Nice to Have

- Working knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

- Esri Enterprise Administration certification.

- Linux deployment of ArcGIS Enterprise components.

- Cloud-hosted ArcGIS deployments (Azure, AWS).
