Monitoring Tools Administrator

Role Summary

We are recruiting a Monitoring Tools Administrator to operate enterprise monitoring and observability platforms.

The role spans agent rollout, alert engineering, dashboard design, and integrations with the ITSM tool.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer monitoring platforms (SolarWinds, Zabbix, Nagios, PRTG, Dynatrace, or similar).

- Roll out and maintain agents, SNMP/WMI targets, and synthetic checks.

- Engineer alerts: thresholds, correlation, suppression, and noise reduction.

- Build dashboards for ops, service delivery, and management audiences.

- Integrate with ITSM tools for ticket auto-creation and lifecycle.

- Support APM, log management, and infrastructure monitoring as a unified view.

- Document operational runbooks and tuning history.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent.

- 4+ years administering at least two of: SolarWinds, Zabbix, Nagios, PRTG, Dynatrace, Datadog, New

Relic.

- Strong on networking and server fundamentals.

- Scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for custom checks/integrations.

- Experience with SNMP, WMI, JMX, and log shipping (Beats, Fluentd).

- Familiarity with at least one APM and one log platform.

- Professional English — mandatory.

Preferred / Nice to Have

- Working knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

- Vendor certifications (SolarWinds SCP, Dynatrace Associate, Datadog Foundation).

- Grafana / Prometheus stack experience.

- AIOps / event-correlation tooling exposure.
