Role Summary
We are looking for an OpenText Administrator to operate and maintain an OpenText Content Suite (Content
Server / Extended ECM) environment. The role covers platform administration, security, integrations, and
upgrade lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer OpenText Content Server / xECM platforms.
- Manage user/group provisioning, permissions, and security inheritance.
- Configure Workflow, Records Management, and document categorisation.
- Operate Archive Server and storage providers.
- Apply patches and major-version upgrades; coordinate testing and rollbacks.
- Monitor performance, indexing, and service health.
- Support integrations with SAP, Microsoft 365, and AD/LDAP.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or equivalent.
- 4+ years administering OpenText Content Server in production.
- Strong Windows Server / Linux server administration.
- Hands-on with at least one supported database (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with OpenText Archive Server, Imaging, or xECM connectors.
- Scripting (PowerShell, OScript, or Python).
- Professional English — mandatory.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- OpenText Certified Administrator.
- Exposure to xECM for SAP / Microsoft Teams.
- Experience with Brava!, DocuLink, or AppWorks.
