Role Summary
We are looking for a Drupal Administrator to operate, secure, and maintain large-scale Drupal sites running on
Drupal 9/10. The role spans configuration management, module/theme support, security patching, and
content-team enablement.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer multi-site Drupal estates (configuration, modules, themes, content types).
- Apply security updates, core upgrades, and module patches on schedule.
- Manage configuration sync, deployments, and environments via Drush + CI/CD.
- Investigate and resolve performance, caching, and scalability issues.
- Implement search, taxonomy, multilingual (i18n), and content-workflow features.
- Support content authors with training, documentation, and tooling.
- Coordinate with hosting, security, and DevOps teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
- 4+ years administering and supporting Drupal 8/9/10 in production.
- Strong with Drush, Composer, Git, and configuration management.
- Hands-on with PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, and LAMP/LEMP stacks.
- Experience with caching layers (Redis, Memcached, Varnish) and CDNs.
- Familiarity with security best practices (OWASP, Drupal security advisories).
- Professional English — mandatory.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Acquia Certified Drupal Site Builder / Developer.
- Twig templating and basic theme customisation.
- Exposure to headless/decoupled Drupal architectures.
