Role Summary
We are recruiting a Cloud Engineer to build, operate, and secure cloud environments on AWS and/or Azure.
The role spans landing-zone design, workload migration, IaC, FinOps, and Day-2 operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and operate cloud landing zones, accounts/subscriptions, and networking.
- Build IaC modules (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation) and reusable patterns.
- Implement IAM, RBAC, and policy guardrails (Azure Policy, AWS SCPs, OPA).
- Migrate workloads from on-prem / lift-and-shift / re-platform / re-architect.
- Operate cost optimisation and FinOps: tagging, budgets, savings plans.
- Embed observability and run game-days for resilience.
- Support security teams with cloud control implementation (CIS, NIST).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.
- 4+ years in cloud engineering on AWS and/or Azure (production).
- Strong IaC skills: Terraform mandatory; Bicep/CloudFormation a plus.
- Experience with networking (VPC/VNet, peering, hybrid connectivity, transit gateways).
- Linux + Windows server fundamentals.
- Scripting in PowerShell and/or Python / Bash.
- Professional English — mandatory.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Pro or Azure Administrator/Architect.
- GCP exposure for multi-cloud workloads.
- Cloud security certifications (CCSP, AZ-500, AWS Security Specialty).
