Radio Frequency Tech

About the Role:

This Position involves; RF hardware design, software configuration, testing and completing systems engineering documentation and procedures. They will be required to support team members in their required area of expertise and share their knowledge to aid in improving staff understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertaking the design, integration, testing and documentation of engineering subsystems
• Plan, design, manage, execute and report test procedures using appropriate testing tools and techniques as well as fault finding using electronic test equipment of RF communication support systems.
• Producing technical documentation
• Assist in the continuous improvement process by developing and enhancing procedures
• With guidance, perform design review

About you:

• Experience in Satalite Communication
• Have an Electrical Trade Certificate
• Application of ARPANSA (Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency) Radio Standards
• Experience in Radio over IP Technologies
• Currently hold a NV1 security clearance
• Voltage measuring (TEST 3) experience
• Designing, installing and maintaining radio frequency based (RFEN) Experience
• Designing System components (DESN 4) Experience
