Radio Frequency Specialist

About the Role:

A RF Systems Integrator to operate as an embedded part of the Special
Operations Command Tactical Networks (SOCTN) team. The SOCTN enterprise is made up of various capabilities needed for the provision of Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) to stakeholders and is procured and sustained by a number of different agreements. LCSS SPO is responsible for the support and sustainment of a sub-set of these capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advice, analysis and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders on RF planning, design and operation of the Mission Systems.
  
• Contribute and adhere to radio design guidelines and standards with RF  planning and design ensuring EME compliance.
  
• Support the Mission Systems Engineer(s) with maintaining engineering authority  and system baseline, including engineering change proposals, as part of the authorised engineering processes.
  
• Prepare correspondence, supporting design documentation and reports
  including submissions and documents for higher consideration.

About You:

• Work collaboratively and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  
• Capacity for candidate to benefit from training and gain proficiency in particular skill sets relevant to stakeholder requirements.
  
• Networking qualifications and/or experience.
  
• System Administration experience.
  
• Experience in IT Network Configuration and Change Management.
• Understanding and experience in SOCOMD systems and networks used to
  distribute and transport voice/data communications.
  
• Experience in Mission System(s) support to tactical edge. and IT network support tools
  
• Experience in managing and fault-finding multitier Voice/Data networks and SOCOMD Radio technologies.
  
• Experience in administering RoIP systems with programmer qualifications relevant to in-service tactical radio technology.
  
• Qualifications and/or experience in positions maintaining Accountable COMSEC Material (ACCM/HACE).
  
• Tactical/ strategical RF integration and infrastructure experience
