About the Role:

Radio Frequency Technologist is required by ASD to work across a variety of disciplines including RF hardware design, software configuration, testing and completing systems engineering documentation and procedures. They will be required to support team members in their required area of expertise and share their knowledge to aid in improving staff understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

• As directed, undertake the design, integration, testing and documentation of engineering subsystems
  
• Plan, design, manage, execute and report test and test procedures using appropriate testing tools and techniques
  
• Produce technical documentation
  
• Undertake testing and fault finding using electronic test equipment of RF communications systems and components.
  
• Assist in the continuous improvement process by developing and enhancing procedures
• Perform design review

About You:

• Experience in Satellite communication
• Electrical Trade Certificate
  
• Application of ARPANSA RF Standard
• Experience in RFoIP technologies
• Must currently hold PV Security clearance
