About the job Product Manager
A Product Manager position that will deliver common item fleet management to the Australian Defence force. Including preparing briefing documents and supporting artefacts including high level schedules. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- NV1 clearance required.
- Provision of Product Management services to support capability delivery.
- Co-ordinate In-Service Support arrangements, Risks, Issues and
- Opportunities with support contractors.
- Develop, update and coordinate In-Service Support artefacts.
- Execute the Support Services Management Plan to assure delivery of fit for purpose outcomes within contracted cost and schedule to meet service capability needs.
- Provide monthly Product management as well as, co-ordinate and conduct internal review activities.
- Manage and maintain Product WBS
- Coordinate, Develop and Review, Product/Fleet governance activities.
- Develop, review and co-ordinate Contract Change Proposals.
- Review and assess supplier deliverables.
- Identify and manage capability risk, issues and opportunities.
- Coordinate Engineering and logistic Services in accordance with the JC2SPO EMP and CMP. (as required) and Input to Capability (FIC) integration.
- Provision of SME guidance / mentoring to other Product/Fleet team members. (as required).
ICT Accreditation:
- Develop, implement, and maintain System Security Plans, Security Risk Management Plans and other ICT artefacts to achieve and maintain ICT Accreditation. (if applicable)
- Provide effective governance of suppliers ICT Security practices.
- Provide effective management of ICT Security Risks under the Systems
SRMP:
- Liaise, facilitate, and report on sustainment impacts from an ICT accreditation aspect.
- Provide effective engagement with Certification and Accreditation Authorities to achieve and maintain ICT Accreditation.
- Conduct quarterly reviews.
- Assess and implement changes from reviews into relevant System ICT documentation.
Facilities and Physical Security Management:
- Ensure all equipment is held /operated in a Physical Security Zone 3 accredited (or above) facilities. (as required)
- Assist and provide support to Head Resident Unit of facilities where CJC03 equipment and personnel are located through a Memorandum of Understanding.
- Draft and maintain Security Risk Assessments required for facilities, where minimum PSZ3 requirements are not met.
Transition Management:
Represent CJC03 as the transition lead between CJC03 and other products as required.
Provide coordination of RFI from other projects/products.
Provide SME advice on impacts to current capability of proposed new capabilities.
Identify risk to current capability because of new platform/project implementation.
Identify transition documentation requirements to support acquisition into service and transition to sustainment activities.
Review and provide feedback on all proposed transition documentation suite of artefacts.
