About The Role:
The Engineer will be part of a small team within a broader integration program. They will exercise sound decision making and judgement to support the acquisition, verification, technical certification and delivery of LC4CS materiel. Experience in both the BTN and TCN, including networks and integration
Key Responsibilities:
- Support to the maintenance of the CDT LCSS SPO Engineering framework, including the production and maintenance of engineering, verification and Technical Certification Plans
- Accountable contribution to the project scopes of work LC4CS materiel.
- Performs highly complex work associated with the LC4CS, including the TCN and BTN, including developing strategies and evaluating product outputs addressing requirements such as: reporting, stakeholder liaison and engagement, configuration management, security accreditation, system reviews, change management, and other engineering governance activities as directed.
- Responsible for contribution to the CDT engineering team.
- Proactively identify, manage and mitigate risk.
- Act as Commonwealth representative during system testing activities conducted by contractors, when required.
- Provide advice as required to stakeholders, including Capability Manager, contractors, FIC stakeholders.
About You:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant industry and/or domain work experience of more than 12 years, and
- Ability to obtain and hold a Defence Technical Authority Level (of a least Level 4).
- Experience with the Land Technical Regulatory Framework and the Land System Safety Manual.
- Experience with verification program, including Acceptance Test and Evaluation (AT&E).
- Experience in the production of System Safety cases.
- Experience with the BTN and TCN, including TCN Waveforms.
- Knowledge of the ADF Land C4 environment, including Armys planning and use of the BTN and TCN.
- Knowledge of Systematic Sitaware Battle Management System (BMS) Products;
- Knowledge of the US Army Android Team Awareness Kit (ATAK) BMS solution
- Knowledge of security principles for deployable communications networks.
- Experience in working with Defence Industry.
