Systems Engineer (NV1 Defence)

About The Role:

The Project Support  Officer roles will support the DCE Programs day-to-day planning, scheduling, reporting, and coordination activities. These roles are vital to ensuring project milestones are met, resources are aligned to delivery priorities, and key risks are tracked and escalated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and work breakdown structures.
• Coordinate project workforce planning and delivery timelines, tracking task performance and resolving delivery blockers.
• Support governance reporting, including weekly status reports, financial updates, and milestone tracking.
• Maintain project registers (risks, issues, actions), support risk mitigation planning, and track progress to resolution.
• Assist in planning EDSRA alignment activities with cross-functional teams.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.

About You:

• Experience supporting Defence or large infrastructure programs in a PMO or project support capacity.
• Skilled in MS Project, Excel, and relevant project reporting tools.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Prior experience with sustainment or shipyard environments is highly desirable.
