About the Role:

As an ICT Change Manager in C4i Solutions, you will be responsible for governing, coordinating, and assuring changes to IT services and systems to minimise risk, maintain service stability, and enable the timely delivery of business outcomes. The role ensures that changes are assessed, approved, implemented, and reviewed in a controlled and auditable manner. The role is located onsite in Sydney, CBD.

Key Responsibilities:

Change Management Governance:

  • Own and maintain the IT Change Management framework aligned with ITIL and organisational policy.
  • Define, document, and continuously improve change processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure all changes are risk-assessed, authorised, scheduled, and recorded appropriately.

Change Control & Execution:

  • Review and assess standard, normal, and emergency changes.
  • Coordinate and chair Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Emergency CAB (ECAB).
  • Ensure implementation plans include impact analysis, testing, and rollback.
  • Maintain the Forward Schedule of Change (FSC).

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for change-related queries.
  • Collaborate with service owners, technical teams, suppliers, and business stakeholders.
  • Communicate approved changes and impacts to affected parties.

Risk, Compliance & Assurance:

  • Identify and manage change-related risks.
  • Ensure compliance with security, accreditation, and audit requirements.
  • Support audits by providing change records and evidence.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement:

  • Track change performance metrics.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews (PIRs).
  • Drive continual improvement of the change process.

About you:

  • Australian citizen (required for Defence projects) with a min AGSVA NV1 clearance. The ability to obtain a Negative Vetting 2 (NV2) security clearance is preferred.
  • Experience working in complex Defence project settings.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience chairing CAB forums.
  • ITIL 4 Foundation (Essential).
  • ITIL 4 Managing Professional (Desirable).
  • Experience in IT Change Management.
  • Strong ITIL knowledge.
  • Experience chairing CAB forums.
  • Strong communication and risk assessment skills.
  • Experience with ITSM tools.
  • Communicates clearly and confidently, both written and verbal.
  • Is highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Builds positive relationships and manages stakeholders effectively.
  • Works well independently and takes initiative.
  • Can manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Adapts easily to change and works well in a team environment.
