C4I Solutions are seeking a Level 2 - Procurement Support Officer to provide commercial support required to complete Project preparation from RFT to market and through evaluation phase within Communications Systems Branch within Defence.

This role offers a 13-month FTE contract opportunity.

  • Commencement date: 6th June 2022
  • Applications close: 20th May 2022
  • Expected rates: $600 - 800 pd.
  • Location: Canberra, ACT.

About the role :-

The Procurement Support Officer will be required to provide the following:

Prior to RFT release:

Development of a range of documents to support RFT process including:

1) Liability Risk Assessment

2) Tender Evaluation Plan

3) Internal Approvals (Endorsement to Proceed)

After RFT release: 

Support to RFT process including:

1) Management of tenderer queries and action items

2) Tender Evaluation Support

3) Preparing responses to tenderer queries in relation to commercial issues.

4) Commercial Evaluation as member of Commercial Evaluation Team.

Skills & Experience :-

The successful candidate will be required to provide Commercial support from Project preparation to issue RFT to market and through evaluation phase. To achieve this it is ideal that they have the following:

      • Previous Defence procurement experience and strong familiarity with the ASDEFCON contracting suite.
      • Knowledge of Technical Data Requirements Analysis.
      • An understanding of the Defence Intellectual Property Framework
      • Experience in complex integration projects would be an advantage.
      • Ability to liaise with Engineering / Integrated Logistics Support and other project stakeholders.

      Essential criteria :-

      • Experience with Defence or other complex procurements is essential.
      • Due to the nature of this role, applicants must hold a minimum AGSVA Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance (NV1).
