Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accountant will manage the monthly group consolidation process and support the preparation of annual statutory financial statements, ensuring compliance with SFRS(1), statutory, tax and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Prepare monthly consolidated management reports and presentation materials, including variance analysis and commentary for management review.
  • Coordinate with business unit finance teams on annual budgeting, periodic forecasting and the consolidation of group financial results for management reporting purposes.
  • Oversee monthly reporting deliverables across business units and ensure timely and accurate submission.
  • Support the Finance Manager in overseeing the month-end closing process and ensuring reporting deadlines are met.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax agents, and coordinate year-end statutory audit, corporate tax matters and XBRL filing.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, cash flow forecasts and other ad hoc financial analyses as required.

The successful candidate should possess the following: 

  • Strong technical knowledge of SFRS(1) and hands-on experience in the consolidation of group accounts.
  • Familiar with Singapore statutory and regulatory requirements, including ACRA and XBRL filing requirements.
  • Experience liaising with external auditors and tax agents on statutory audit and tax compliance matters.
  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance, ACCA, CA with at least three years of relevant experience in group consolidation and financial reporting. Prior experience with a Big 4 accounting firm will be an advantage.
  • Analytical, meticulous and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with finance teams and business stakeholders across the Group
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Netsuite and consolidation systems will be an advantage.
  • Willingness to work in industrial park (Seletar) - company transport from specific locations are provided.
