The Deputy General Manager will lead the team in driving and managing daily operations including marketing and promotion of commercial spaces for a leading managing agent.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Co-formulate, drive and execute strategies, improve performance, implement potential asset enhancement initiatives that focus on the Company's objectives and market opportunities.
  • Maximize sales and revenue, ensure profitability and operational viability of the mall including forecasting sales figures and inventory requirement for each location.
  • Build and develop good landlord, tenant and stakeholder relationship and promote the Company's values.
  • Lead and promote synergy across Leasing, Marketing and Operation teams including inspiring and coaching them and promoting cross-functional communication
  • Ensure all activities within the centre/mall are compliant and in line with the Company's operating standards.
  • Develop and lead the team while driving an effective individual performance development plan and ensuring alignment of resources with business needs.
  • Ensure alignment to Company's guidelines while being a joint venture with our business partners
  • Prepare annual budgets and periodical reports for board meetings.

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Eight years of relevant experience as a Centre Manager in retail property, with proven team management experience
  • Degree in Business, Real Estate/Building or related qualifications. Real Estate License by CEA is an added advantage
  • Strong retail background with good management of leasing, marketing and operations matters.
  • High business acumen with excellent financial skills to handle annual budgets and conduct feasibility studies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage the interests of the various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills to lead a team
