Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of all eCommerce platforms, ensuring all processes are efficient, and the web shop runs smoothly.
  • Implement and optimize order fulfilment processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of customer orders.
  • Monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts and overstock situations on all owned eCommerce platforms, working with the General Manager and the eCommerce Manager.
  • Focus on enhancing the overall customer experience on the eCommerce platform, addressing any issues, and improving user interface and navigation.
  • Collaborate with IT, Marketing, Shopify Platform Owner, agencies and e-distributors/e-tailers to ensure the web shop is up-to-date, secure, and user-friendly.
  • Analyze ecommerce data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure efficient and cost-effective shipping, delivery and reverse logistics processes, including B-stock management.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure processes and software meet high standards and customer expectations.
  • Oversee payment processing systems, ensuring smooth transactions and security compliance.
  • Collaborate with the customer support team and e-distributors or e-tailers to address customer inquiries, complaints, and issues related to the ecommerce platform.
  • Monitor competitors' activities, pricing, and promotions to stay informed and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize product pages for search engines and implement marketing strategies that drive traffic and sales.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant ecommerce laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Completed at least 3 years of specialized vocational training with additional professional development in the relevant field.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in e-commerce operations, online retail.
  • Proven experience in how to setup and run Marketplaces.
  • Proficiency in working with e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and methods to interpret e-commerce data and metrics is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of inventory management practices, including inventory tracking and optimization.
  • Ability to identify issues, find solutions, and make data-driven decisions to improve e-commerce performance.
  • Understanding of basic marketing principles and search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to and proficiency in basic web development, content management systems, and digital marketing tools might be advantageous.
  • A commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience and incorporating customer feedback into business strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with different teams, manage vendors, and address customer inquiries.
