Responsibilities
- Design, execute, commissioning & install automation machines & systems to meet project & production schedule.
- Review & upgrade existing automated production lines via root cause analysis for continuously improvement to meet production new requirement.
- Create, prepare, update automation project documentation, procedures & drawings of Gantt chart, weekly progress report, process / equipment flow chart, validation list, buy off/FAT/SAT (Factory / Site Acceptance Test) procedure, mechanical assembly & layout drawing, electrical diagram & wiring, I/O list, co-robot & PLC program, SOP (Standard Operation Procedure), WI (Work Instruction) & PM (preventive maintenance) check list.
- Attention to details of design concepts, provide most cost-effective technical solutions in line with customer and company needs.
- Update & back up automation system documentation, procedures, drawings, software, co-robot & PLC programming timely.
- Coordinate with internal team (Sales, Quality, Project, Production, maintenance) and external supplier to make projects successful.
- Participate of root cause analysis of product failure within cross functional team.
- Perform leadership & ownership to complete projects on schedule and meet quality requirement.
- Prepare machines preventive maintenance check list and train operation & maintenance staffs.
- Monitor automation system performance and provide support & perform service production automation line when necessary.
- Any other duties as and when assigned.
- Adhere to workplace health and safety. Abide by all EHS policies and procedures.
- Experience in automation machine design are advantages.
- Experience in project management.
- Experience in automation engineering system design concept & development.
- Experience in mechanical & pneumatic system, EOAT (End Of Arm Tooling), fixture & jig design.
- Experience in electrical & PLC, 6-Axis Robot & vision control system design & programming.
- Hands-on experience of electrical and mechanical assembly & installation
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree of Engineering in Automation / Mechatronics / Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent. are welcome, on job training will be provided.
- ITE with few years experience are welcome.
- Knowledge of industrial automation & engineering, jigs and fixture design, FMEA, SPC, PLC, CAD.
- Knowledge on Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical components.
- IT skills (MS Office)
- Communicate well in English
