Senior Legal Counsel (Intellectual Property)

Responsibilities:

• Providing full legal support and rendering legal advice and handling of legal agreements in respect of a broad spectrum of matters to Group Companies in Singapore and overseas, electric vehicle related projects, solar (renewable energy) projects, in Intellectual Property and in technology digital applications and platforms business unit.
• Collaboration to drive research, development and implementation of next-generation energy solutions and technologies
• Procurement contracts including IT contracts for procuring hardware, software, license, SaaS and relevant services
• Handling claims, investigations, disputes and related litigation matter
• Handling general corporate and commercial matters such as loan agreements and employment matters





Requirements:

• Degree in Law from a recognised University and called to Singapore Bar
• Minimum of 8 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in practice and/or in-house from the sustainability industry
• Experience in handling general legal matters, M&A and in IP legal work.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines
