Reporting to the CHRO, the Head of Total Rewards designs and shapes Rewards philosophy and aligns it with organizational needs and drives the implementation of Performance and Rewards management strategy to attract and retain talent.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide functional and thought leadership on all elements of Rewards strategy and execution to key stakeholders
  • Lead the global Total Rewards team in designing, reviewing and implementing the full spectrum of compensation, benefits and wellness framework, policies and programs that support the business and people objectives
  • Support the CHRO on compensation analyses, including the forecast and reporting of STI and LTI programmes, and preparation of materials for the Remuneration Committee of the Board of Directors
  • Manage and drive group-wide total rewards initiatives and projects which include but not limited to C&B benchmarking, job levelling, annual performance appraisals, salary and bonus reviews, insurance renewal, benefits review, and staff welfare
  • Offer in-depth knowledge on global Benefits between insurers, trends, benchmarking and changes in the legislative framework affecting benefits design and administration
  • Understand benefits compliance applicable to government regulations and advise on compliance testing and audit procedures
  • Provide insightful analytics and advisory to members of the HR team and business leaders on rewards principles, governance, policies and processes to guide business and HR decision making
  • Participate in annual manpower budgeting and 5-year plan
  • Manage Global Mobility and payroll processing


The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Expert hands-on knowledge and experience in a senior compensation and benefits role at a global level, with the ability to develop, implement and drive major total rewards initiatives
  • Demonstrated excellence in strategic thought leadership, stakeholder management, change management and effective collaboration across the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship and partnership skills. Previous experience working directly with senior management with the ability to influence change is highly desired
  • The ability to make sense of complex issues and ambiguous situations
  • Demonstrated ability in prioritising and making tough choices amongst multiple and/or conflicting priorities
  • Strong leadership management skills in leading and motivating teams, setting priorities and delivering organization commitments
  • Strong project management skills with track record leading complex regional/global projects end to end
  • Confident in taking a data-driven approach in presentation to Senior Management
  • Good analytical skill and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Fluency in English and excellent presentation and storytelling ability
