The Assistant HR Manager supports the development and implementation of Group-wide HR strategies, policies, and initiatives to ensure alignment across Business Units (BU) and subsidiaries. The role partners with management and BU HR teams in areas such as talent management, employee relations, performance management, organisational development, and HR operations to support the Company's overall business objectives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Support talent acquisition, succession planning, and talent pipeline initiatives. Coordinate leadership development, employee engagement, and organisational development programmes. Assist in driving performance management and talent review processes
- Support the review/update, implementation, and communication of HR policies and frameworks. Review and update Employee Handbook, staff benefits and other related policies to be in line with the latest legislation guidelines
- Participate in Group HR transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist in HR analytics, reporting, and manpower planning exercises
- Support the management of employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance cases
- Prepare new employee on-boarding related logistics including conduct new hire orientation on staff benefits/welfare and letter of appointment
- Prepare monthly payroll instructions, annual recruitment and other staff benefits' budget
- Work with Head of Departments to understand hiring requirements and source for suitable candidates
- Administer staff benefits such as medical, dental and professional subscription
- Administer staff welfare initiatives and programs
- Manage office administration including supervision of receptionists, tea lady and despatch clerk
- Co-administrator for HR System and Co-ordinator for Intranet (related to HR)
The successful candidate should possess the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of relevant HR experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of the organization
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and is a good team player
- Effectively bilingual in both English and Chinese language to speak to Chinese Associates
