About the job Construction Document Control - Administrative Assistant
Min. Mandatory Requirements:
(3) years experience as an administrative assistant or document control clerk with a CM or a construction organization, or a technical degree from an accredited college and one (1) year experience as an administrative assistant or document control clerk with a CM or a construction organization; and shall have a working knowledge of computer software systems, e.g., Excel, Word
Position responsibilities:
Responsible for directing all aspects of document control, including initial set-up, regular updates and report preparation. Assists the Project Manager and Project Superintendent in project planning, estimating, scheduling, procurement, safety, quality, application of resources, delivery of project objectives and cost control.
Principle Responsibilities:
Creates and maintains project files, copies, scans and archives all correspondence and project documents.
Compiles, tracks and reports on information from multiple sources relevant to project assignment
Prepares and edits project related documents, including reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations.
Compiles, reviews, and analyzes data
Processes, logs and tracks shop drawings, submittals and Requests for Information (RFI).
Coordinates with remote construction teams using web-based software to share documents and files.
Prepares master subconsultant Agreements and Work Orders.
