Requirements:

  • Minimum 3years experience in UAE for standard level or 5 years of home country experience for beginner level
  • Bachelors degree in engineering (Civil / Electrical)
  • Sound mathematical, scientific and IT skills.
  • The ability to think methodically and to manage jobs.
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and within budgets.
  • Ability to maintain an overview of entire jobs while continuing to attend to detailed technicalities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Negotiating, supervisory and leadership skills
  • Complete knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Commercial awareness an understanding of how your actions can affect profitability of a jobs

Software or IT Skills:

  • Auto CAD
  • MS Project Professional / Primavera
  • Microsoft Office Package
  • One Drive /SharePoint Software

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and assign tasks to team members based on project requirements.
  • Ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and external parties.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for project-related information.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, and status reports.
  • Ensure documentation is organized and accessible to the project team.
  • Monitor and track the progress of project tasks and milestones.
  • Report any deviations from the project plan to the operation manager.
  • Work with project managers to allocate resources appropriately.
  • Monitor resource utilization and report on any constraints or issues.
  • Assist in identifying potential risks and issues.
  • Contribute to the development of risk mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Schedule and organize project meetings, including preparation of agendas.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, ensuring attendance and participation.
  • Document and distribute meeting minutes and action items.
  • Follow up with team members to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Assist in tracking project expenses against the budget.
  • Report on budget status and notify the project manager of any discrepancies.
  • Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Contribute to the implementation of quality control processes.
  • Coordinate the transportation of materials and resources to and from the project site.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment, optimizing transport efficiency.
  • Provide support to project team members as needed.
  • Foster a positive team culture and assist in team development.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to enhancements.
  • Seek feedback from team members and stakeholders to improve project processes.
  • Keep clients and stakeholders informed about project progress and developments.
  • Provide regular updates on project status and milestones.
  • Assist in resolving project-related issues and conflicts.
  • Escalate issues to the project manager as needed.
