Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in UAE for standard level
- Diploma in Engineering (Civil)
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and within budgets.
- Ability to maintain an overview of entire projects while continuing to attend to detailed technicalities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Negotiating, supervisory skills
- Complete knowledge of relevant legislation
- Commercial awareness an understanding of how your actions can affect profitability of a project
Software or IT Skills:
- Auto CAD
- Project Professional
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day activities on the construction site.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Coordinate and schedule construction activities, ensuring they align with project timelines.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
- Enforce quality control measures to ensure construction work meets project specifications and standards.
- Conduct inspections to verify workmanship and compliance with quality requirements.
- Oversee the delivery and use of construction materials.
- Ensure the availability and proper functioning of necessary equipment and tools.
- Supervise and manage construction crews and subcontractors.
- Provide guidance and direction to workers, ensuring they understand their tasks and responsibilities.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to construction workers based on their skills and capabilities.
- Monitor progress and productivity to meet project milestones.
- Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including project managers, clients, and subcontractors.
- Report on project progress, issues, and challenges to higher management.
- Address and resolve construction-related issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the project team to find solutions to unforeseen challenges.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date construction records and documentation.
- Document any changes to the project scope or deviations from the original plans.
- Implement and enforce safety measures to ensure a secure work environment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions for all construction personnel.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other relevant legal requirements.
- Obtain/ensure necessary permits and approvals for construction activities.
- Provide input to project managers, engineers, or other professionals to develop and manage construction schedules.
- Implement strategies to ensure timely completion of construction phases.
- Interact with clients to provide updates on project progress.
- Address client concerns and ensure satisfaction with the construction process.
- Provide training and guidance to construction crews on safety protocols and best practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
