Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives that support the company's overall strategic objectives.
  2. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
  3. Develop and maintain effective employee relations programs, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary procedures.
  4. Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
  5. Coordinate and conduct employee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  6. Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards related to employment, health, and safety.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including attendance, leave, and performance evaluations.
  8. Manage the payroll process and ensure timely and accurate payment of wages and salaries.
  9. Handle employee inquiries and concerns regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  10. Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop workforce plans to meet production targets.
  11. Monitor and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
  12. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR management and incorporate them into the company's HR strategy.

Qualifications and Skill Set:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
  2. Proven experience as an HR Manager, HR Generalist, or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in the steel fabrication industry.
  3. In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits administration.
  4. Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements applicable to the manufacturing sector.
  5. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  6. Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
  7. Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) software and MS Office Suite.
  8. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  9. High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
