Responsibilities:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical, industrial, or metallurgical engineering.
  • Experience within a Fabricating / Engineering / Sheet Metal manufacturing environment.
  • Functional and technical understanding of CAD suits like AutoCAD and Solid Works.
  • Solid technical understanding of steel fabrication processes, including welding, cutting, bending, and machining, as well as an understanding of manufacturing efficiencies.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving tools and techniques.
  • Skills for managing employee performance.
  • Close attention to detail to guarantee that products fulfill requirements and standards.
    
    
    Responsibilities
  1. Production Planning and Scheduling:

    • Develop production schedules and ensure timely execution of orders.
    • Coordinate with other departments such as sales, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth workflow.
  2. Resource Management:

    • Achieve production targets while minimizing costs by effectively allocating resources, such as machinery, and materials.
  3. Cost Management and Inventory Control:

    • Manage and optimize production costs by analyzing and controlling expenses related to materials, labor, and overhead.
    • Develop and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for all products, and ensure cost-effective sourcing.
  4. Inventory Management:

    • Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished products and manage the budget for the production department.
  5. Process Improvement:

    • Continuously assess and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
  6. Quality Control:

    • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet industry standards and customer requirements.
  7. Safety Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in the workplace.
    • Implement safety protocols and provide training to staff to minimize accidents and injuries.
  8. Troubleshooting:

    • Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the production process, whether related to equipment malfunction, supply chain disruptions, or other factors.
  9. Customer Relations:

    • Liaise with customers to understand their requirements and address any concerns or inquiries regarding production processes or timelines.
  10. Team Management:

    • Supervise and motivate production staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
