About the Role

The CEO will be responsible for leading the companys strategic direction, overseeing global manufacturing operations, and driving business growth through effective management of resources and talent.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Business (P&L)
  • Develop and execute the 3-year rolling strategy and annual business plan (revenue, margin, cash flow, capacity, delivery).
  • Lead S&OP and capex decision-making to ensure ROI from expansion, automation, and digitalization.
  • Global Manufacturing & Lean System
  • Oversee three manufacturing sites with a unified Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement system.
  • Drive OEE improvement, cost reduction, and COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) minimization.
  • Advance automation and digitalization (MES/APS/QMS) to establish built-in quality and traceability
  • Supply Chain & Cost Competitiveness
  • Establish global sourcing and localized supply strategies to optimize PPV, inventory turns, and cash-to-cash cycle.
  • Manage supply risk and compliance, including multi-sourcing of key raw materials/components, tariffs, certifications, and environmental regulations.
  • Products & Delivery
  • Set end-to-end delivery strategies (forecasting capacity planning quality shipment) and ensure OTIF 95%.
  • Define per-product quality and cost targets (unit cost, scrap, rework, yield) and close gaps through monthly reviews.
  • Collaborate with the CTO to industrialize new processes/materials and drive cost-down initiatives (DTV/VA-VE).
  • Govern large-scale project deliveries with milestone control, red/amber/green tracking, risk logs, and contingency planning to ensure on-time, in-full, quality-assured delivery.
  • Organization & Culture
  • Build a lean headquarters team in Singapore and strengthen local leadership in Vietnam, positioning it as the global benchmark base.
  • Develop performance-driven culture and succession pipeline (plant GMs, operations, quality, planning, and procurement leaders).

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or above in Engineering, Materials, Mechanical, or Electrical; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of manufacturing and plant management experience, with at least 5 years in multi-country/global manufacturing leadership.
  • Proven track record in ABB, Siemens Energy, Hitachi Energy or similar multinational power equipment companies, particularly in high-voltage components / power T&D equipment manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing Lean / Six Sigma systems with measurable profitability improvement.
  • Must have managed manufacturing operations with annual product revenue exceeding USD 1 billion.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt preferred; strong familiarity with IEC/IEEE/EN/ASTM standards and global compliance.
  • Fluent English; Chinese or European languages are a plus.
  • Strong financial acumen and cross-cultural leadership capabilities, with the ability to thrive in a fast-scaling entrepreneurial environment.
